          There are sixteen years between Anna and Bennet. Anna lives in 1995, same year when Bennet was born. Yet, our dear protagonist get to know the seventeen years old Bennet who comes from the year 2012. How confusing and awesome is that? Well, Tamara Ireland Stone's debut novel Time Between Us delivers an enjoyable romantic time traveling adventure that will make your heart ache.

          With a captivating plot, Tamara Ireland Stone hooked me from the first chapter. The pace was smooth but so balanced that I never got bored while reading this book. It was not a mind-blowing read, but it is definitely one that you wont want to put down either. In addition, Anna and Bennet were an incredibly charming couple and their connection was adorable! It progressed slowly giving time for readers to get to know them well before they revealed any strong feelings towards each other and I liked that the author took her time to develop their relationship. Moreover, Emma and Justin were very nice side characters who complemented very well the Anna's daily life. Actually, I really got to love Justin and Emma and it would marvelous if they get their own book! Justin was just beyond cute and Emma was that best friend we all have and love with all our heart!

          In what concerns the time-traveling aspect of the novel, Bennet had many rules regarding his time-traveling skill that make perfect sense to me. I'd love the thought that Miss Stone put into the possibilities and consequences of altering and playing with time. However, throughout the book there was still something that kept bothering me. I kept asking myself how was it possible that Bennet could teleport and time travel? How did he get this skill? Did he developed it? if yes, how? and why him? Unfortunately, Miss Stone never answered any of these questions and I would have loved to have an explanation, or at least theories about how this phenomenon was possible in her story. Although this is not sci-fi book at all, the time-traveling subject is definetly strongly present and I would have love to know at least a little bit about this important aspect of the novel.

          Time Between Us is a sweet and charming read that will please readers in need of a compelling romance! Plus it comes with a marvelous dose of  supernatural! But be warned that this may not be the right book for you if you are looking for all the elements of a traditional time-traveling novel since it lack of theories and scientific explanations. Nevertheless, the pace of the story is brilliant and regardless the things I wish I have had know more about, I really enjoyed this novel. I think Tamara Ireland Stone's storytelling is absolutely captivating and it made me swallow her debut novel in just one seat!
