Yesterday night I arrived to Montreal from BEA. It was such a wonderful experience! Oh good Lord! I met so many authors, fellow bloggers, educators, librarians, even a film producer! So much happened in three days that I have no idea where to start. I guess starting from the first day would make sense XD
So today I'm posting a recap of BEA day 1, tomorrow day 2 and Monday will finally conclude with day 3. :) yay!
So, here we go!
Tuesday, June 5th 2012. BEA Day 1
Dude, can this stairs be any sexier?? Shadow Hunters rocks!! I almost swoon when I got to BEA and this was the one main stairs that lead you to the main floor! holy cow!! I loved it!
Then...
OH MY GOD! Andrea Cremer!!
I couldn't help it, I went into fangirling mode when I saw her. XD
Isn't she cute and pretty? =)
Tuesday morning I went straight to the Andrea Cremer line-up. I arrived there one hour before her signing and I was not the first one in line but I was still close. After 20 minutes, the line-up was super long! OMG! thanks God I had the brilliant idea to go and wait for her an hour before her signing started! :)
Also, she is the very first author I ever met in my life and OMG! she signed my copy of rift!! Andrea Cremer is SO sweet and kind! :) I cant wait to read Rift! kyaaa!! Unfortunately, I didnt realized that my pic came up blurry, but still, I love it!! <3
On day 1, Harlequin had this massive signing in their booth! Julie Kagawa, Rachel Vincent, Aimee Carter and Maria V. Snyder were signing their books and I went totally into fangirl mode XD. They are all so super sweet! Then, when Aimee Carter read my badge, she recognized my blog! She said something like: "Oh! Dazzling Reads! THAT Dazzling Reads =D" Then I went totally nuts XDDD!
After this event, there was an adult harlequin event that I also went to get a signed copy of Shadow Bound by Rachel Vincent and Touch of Power by Maria V. Snyder! kyaa! ^_^ it was totally awesome!
At the main entrance, Penguin had this amazing photo set to personalize the Reached's cover! Of course, as a big fan of this trilogy, I couldn't let this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity pass by!
The result?...
Tadaaaaaa!!!
Isn't it amazing?? I'm on the cover of Reached!! wooohooo!!! =D
Thank you so much to Penguin USA for this picture! I love it!
Then I went to the signing for Glass Heart by Amy Garvey. She was really, really nice!
Unfortunately, at the same time was the signing for Lauren Oliver "The Splinders" but the line-up was crazy long O_O! I was very afraid to almost get "there" and that there werent't be any book left or that it would take me more than an hour (the max time Lauren was going to be signing at the table) to get to her. However, Her line-up was right besides Amy Harvey's so I did get to papparazzily take a picture of her XDD lol!
Here it is!
But even though I missed her signing I still got a copy of The Splinders at the Harper Collins booth ^_^
Then I assisted to the Mix & Mingle with the Apocaliypsies event! There were 22 YA debut authors that introduced their books! there were giveaways, swag for everybody and cookies! It was a wonderful event because <3 we all got the chance to talk to authors, get pictures, authographes and more goodies! it was such a beautiful experience!! Thank you so much to all the authors who were there for such wonderful day!! =D
This was the postcard that features all the authors who were present at the event
and this is the back side of the postcard with the name of all of the authors!
The pictures were taken when I just got to the event room. After that was crazy full!
And here some pictures with some of the authors I met that day =D
Upper left corner from L-R: Sarah J. Maas, Me and Gennifer Albin! Holy cow they are super nice!
Btw, I fangirled Sarah J. Maas! I went to her and told her that I was drooling over her book or something like that XDDD lol!
Upper right corner: Me and Leanna Renee Hieber! She was also super nice and her romantic clothes were were so beautiful! <3
Lower left corner: Me and Kat Zhang! =D I was looking for Kat during the whole partybut she was at a signing at the autographing area. Once she got to the party, I immediately asked her if I could get a pic with her ^.^ she was so nice too!
Lower right corner: Kimberly Sabatini and me! :D Kimberly is just SO amazing and the sweetest person ever! She also asked me to get the same picture but with her camera ^_^ kyaaa!!
Then right after the Mix & Mingle event I went straight to Suzanne Lazear's signing! I got my personalized copy of Innocent Darkness! yay! She looked so pretty dressed in steampunk style <3
Im SO excited about this book! sounds awesome! =P yay!
During the day I met a lot of super nice people <3 but didn't take any picture with them during the first day @_@ sniff! but I did during the second and the third! so those pics are soon coming with all of my dear new bookish buddies ^___^ Big heart ❤ for all of you! Frankie, Rachel, Aliyah, Britney, Danny, Jenna, Mee Chelle,Cindy, Alison, etc, etc! Im sure Im forgetting many names >_< sry! XOXOXO

@Mary: oh yes! Sarah is sooo sweet! I coudlnt go to her signing because when I got there, there were already hundreds of people on the line-up O_O! So I new it would be very hard that I could make it to the front within an hour. However, the next day I saw her many times around so I grabbed a copy of Throne of Glass and kept it with me just in case I saw her again, and I did!! She signed my copy and she was always very very nice ^___^ Im diving into the book This week!! yay!
