The Dark Light just makes me drool SO much over its enticing sexiness and good Lord! The premise already hooked me =D. In the other hand, The Debutantes is SO beautiful in a very different way. It is so soft and girly and is an historical novel that sounds amazing and I cant wait for it to come out! aah!! I want them both NOW!
The Dark Light
by Sara Walsh
Coming out on August 28th 2012!!
Mysterious lights have flickered above Crownsville for as long as Mia can remember. And as far as she’s concerned, that’s about the only interesting thing to happen in her small town.
That is, until Sol arrives. Mia’s not one to fall for just any guy, but she can’t get intense Sol—or the brilliant tattoo on his back—out of her mind.
Then Mia’s brother goes missing, and Mia’s convinced that Sol knows more than he’s sharing. But getting closer to Sol means reevaluating everything she once believed to be true. Because Sol’s not who Mia thought he was—and neither is she.
by Cora Harrison
Coming out on August 2nd 2012!!
MIt’s 1923 and London is a whirl of jazz, dancing and parties. Violet, Daisy, Poppy and Rose Derrington are desperate to be part of it, but stuck in an enormous crumbling house in the country, with no money and no fashionable dresses, the excitement seems a lifetime away.
Luckily the girls each have a plan for escaping their humdrum country life: Rose wants to be a novelist, Poppy a jazz musician and Daisy a famous film director. Violet, however, has only one ambition: to become the perfect Debutante, so that she can go to London and catch the eye of Prince George, the most eligible bachelor in the country.
But a house as big and old as Beech Grove Manor hides many secrets, and Daisy is about to uncover one so huge it could ruin all their plans—ruin everything—forever.
What are you waiting on this Wednesday? =9

The Dark Light sounds SO good! lol, the first time I saw the cover for it, I didn't think it was a YA book until I read the book description... Sol has a very nice body... *giggle*
The Dark Light looks hot. Just learned about The Debutantes and I've never read anything from the 20s before. Should be interesting. Plus I always like chasing princes.
My WOW
Is it shallow of me of wanting to read the first book only because of the awesome cover ? :P
The blurb doesn't really interest me, but the cover (the guy and that tat) does :P
The Debutante sounds amazing ! :)

Okay. I think I need The Dark Light in my life. Thanks for posting. 8D
Both of these are definitely getting added to the GR TBR pile! From the cover, I thought The Dark Light looked like an angel book, but mercifully, the summary doesn't sound like it is. And Debutantes, I can't tell what genre it is from the description, but I don't even care! I already want Violet to bag the prince, lol.
Happy WoW!
The Debutantes looks fantastic---love books set in the 20s. And I am so drawn to that cover, all that vibrant color. Want it!
Some great books coming out in August!
Happy Wednesday and new email follower :)

Ummmmm YES PLEASE!!!!! I want both of these in my hands so I can procrastinate on work and read instead. That's always a much more enjoyable way to spend the day I think. Work is overrated. Except that it provides money with which to buy books. It's a vicious circle ;-)
Both are beautiful covers! I am particularly intrigued by The Dark Light...I wanna know what is going on in that town!
