Yup, it is THAT good!!

Oh Good Lord! If last year my favorite debut on paranormal romance series was Die For Me by Amy Plum, this year is definitely Sweet Evil! (yup! is THAT awesome!). Wendy Higgins's debut novel absolutely stopped my heart, took my breath away, made me swoon countless of times and made me fall deeply in love with the sweetest evil I have ever come across!

Wendy Higgins masterfully created one of the most addictive romances of the year. I can't stop swooning with the high amount of scorching chemistry that almost set my book on fire! The characters are perfectly well build and well developed. I grew to intensively love them in the course of the story and I am definitely placing the main couple as one of my favorite ones among this genre. Anna is such a sweet, innocent and smart girl that it is easy to love her and understand her. In the other hand, Kaidan is one of the most delicious and sexy characters I have come across in a YA novel. In addition to the extraordinary main characters, there is a plot that simply blew my mind! Wendy Higgins created a whole Nephilim/Angel concept that, once I turned the last page, I placed it right up-there along with all of my favorite reads! The world of the Nephilim Higgins introduces in her first novel is so rich that makes this book much more than just a great paranormal romance read. In fact, the Nephilim in Sweet Evil are much more than just half-angel and half-human people. They are Sin in flesh. And with the power of their sin, they must influence humans to fall into temptation and therefore, find their way down to hell. However, with Anna things are much more complex than that but I wont give anything away, readers should definitely discover this extraordinary plot by themselves. Sweet Evil is an outstanding and solid debut with a strong, intriguing and intelligent story-line that will certainly become one of the favorite beduts of the year! I am sure of it!

The romance, the concept, the mythology, and everything that makes this book so immensely alluring, reaches all the highest level of awesomeness. Sweet Evil is THAT good! And from the first word to the last, this book is definitely a drug that will keep you reading late into the night. Daring, sexy and cleverly written, Sweet Evil is a highly delicious love story set in a complex world full of politics, mythology, evil and sin. Highly, highly recommended!
