It's been such a long journey for this movie to be done! We've been hearing about this adaptation for years now as well as all the troubles that the production went through in order to be able to make this movie happen! I signed tones of petitions for this movie to be done as well as tones of other petitions for Peter Jackson to be the director of this movie (he was already the producer). First, Benicio del Toro was supposed to directed this movie, but after a bunch of other issues, Peter Jackson finally took over the project as a director as well. Hell yeah! Ilúvatar, you do hear my prayers!! =D
I've been waiting for ages for this movie to be done, and thanks lord the D- day is soon coming!AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! I am so freaking super happy!! OMG OMG OMG!! It will be soon time to read this book for a forth time! =D Hell yeah!

I have to admit that I was never a fan of the Hobbit because I was forced to read it for school last year -- and it was just short of awful LOL! Writing essays on books totally ruins them! x) But after watching this trailer and reading your excitement, I am SO pumped to watch this movie too!!!

I love how Jackson interweaves light and dark sequences into the trailer. For instance, some scenes are whimsical/funny while others are bleak. The rendition of the song is almost funereal. With that said, I think this movie will be much darker than the book (and that is a good thing IMO).
