Buy the Book at: Book Depository / Chapters.Indigo / Barnes & Noble / AmazonEvie finally has the normal life she’s always longed for. But she’s shocked to discover that being ordinary can be . . . kind of boring. Just when Evie starts to long for her days at the International Paranormal Containment Agency, she’s given a chance to work for them again. Desperate for a break from all the normalcy, she agrees. My Thoughts
But as one disastrous mission leads to another, Evie starts to wonder if she made the right choice. And when Evie’s faerie ex-boyfriend Reth appears with devastating revelations about her past, she discovers that there’s a battle brewing between the faerie courts that could throw the whole supernatural world into chaos. The prize in question? Evie herself.
So much for normal.
Hilarious! I think that is the word I would use to describe this book. Same as Paranormalcy, Supernaturally was a read that gave me many LOL moments and, of course, it is the kind of book that you can swallow in one seat.
There is something about Kiersten White`s writing style that makes her books pretty unique. I think being in Evie`s head is what I like the most about these series. Evie is such a young innocent character that with every book, I love her even more. The dialogues and Evie`s monologues always surprises me by bringing smiles(laughs) and WTF frowns (in a good way). Also, in Supernaturally we have a great new character... Jack...AH! JACK! yes, I think he is infuriatingly funny and jerk. How many times I wanted to kick his butt! but I cannot deny that I enjoyed his presence on the book. He is just there to take Evie wherever he wants and complicate things even more. Evie, besides getting into some troubles she was struggling with her own existentialists problems. What am I? where do I come from? where do I belong? Evie have all these question in her mind and the weight of it pushes her to make some bad decisions during the course of the story. This, will lead to some heartbreaking moments and Lend... well, he`s Lend, and Perfect is not a word big enough to fit him. But all of this is not for nothing because Evie does find the answers to her questions; Some of them very gratifying and others not so much but Evie does grows in this book and I am glad about it.
I really did enjoy Supernaturally but somehow it didn't surprised me as much as Paranormalcy did. Regardless this, I loved the book! and I will continue the series because not only I enjoy reading them but also I am in love with the world Kiersten White has created. I think if you like YA, then this is a series not to be missed.

Lo siento por el malentendido con el comentario. Entendí que al haberte parecido este más flojo el otro no te había gustado. También interpreté los "LOL moments" como falta de coherencia en el libro, fallo mío que me he quedado Lost in Translation. Disculpas :)
Todo bien mi nina ;)
I love this series. I was afraid Paranormalcy would be a bit cheesey but both the reads have been highly entertaining! Lend is a darling and Reth is so intriguing!
