You can't always run from danger...My Thoughts
Haunted by the loss of his mother and sister, Han Alister journeys south to begin his schooling at Mystwerk House in Oden’s Ford. But leaving the Fells doesn’t mean danger isn’t far behind. Han is hunted every step of the way by the Bayars, a powerful wizarding family set on reclaiming the amulet Han stole from them. And Mystwerk House has dangers of its own. There, Han meets Crow, a mysterious wizard who agrees to tutor Han in the darker parts of sorcery—but the bargain they make is one Han may regret.
Meanwhile, Princess Raisa ana’Marianna runs from a forced marriage in the Fells, accompanied by her friend Amon and his triple of cadets. Now, the safest place for Raisa is Wein House, the military academy at Oden's Ford. If Raisa can pass as a regular student, Wein House will offer both sanctuary and the education Raisa needs to succeed as the next Gray Wolf queen.
The Exiled Queen is an epic tale of uncertain friendships, cut-throat politics, and the irresistible power of attraction.
WOW!! WOOOOOOOOOOOW!! I loved The Exiled Queen! I really enjoyed The Demon King but this book just did it for me! I am so glad The Gray Wolf Throne (Seven Realms #3) is coming out on August 30th. I have less than a month to endure, and I will be able to know what happens next.
The story in the Exiled Queen is heading towards a lot of chaos and a huge war. The political situation that was mostly beyond the characters knowledge kept me guessing about it on the edge of my seat. But near the end of the book, you realized how bad everything is getting and our characters are pushed to make decisions that are way beyond their comfort zone. Without effort, it is not worth the risk. Don't you think?
Most of the story takes place in Oden's Ford with Raisa disguised as a cadet for Corporal Byrne and Han Alister and Fire Dancer studying at the Wizard's school. I loved how Raisa and Han/Cuffs meet again. I feel I learn a lot about the Bluebloods and history every time Rai and Han met. Amon and Rai's problems just make me bite my nails and swoon all the time. Also, we get to see a lot more of Rai/Amon and Rai/Han in this book. There were some encounters between Amon and Han that I loved! I need to mention and highlight that Rai is one of the most bad-ass-est characters I have read. She is mixed-blood and she is proud of it. She is not only smart and strong, but she is wise and weak at the same time. By Hanalea's blood! she does act a lot like any normal 16 years-old girl (romantically speaking) but she never forgets, as the Princess Heir, what her priorities are. Han/Cuffs Alister and Amon Byrne... what could I say? To describe these characters or even try to say something about them is just beyond words. I love them both and for once, I am divided. Oh.My.God!
The Story of The Demon King and Hanalea fascinates me. All the lies and the changes people with power made in the history of the Seven Realms is so twisted, but at the same time I think, this could easily be applied to the real world. While in The Demon King we have an introductory book, The Exiled Queen is a strong development heading towards and Epic third book! Yes! I am, once again, desperate to get my claws on it!
Sneak Peak!!! Read The Gray Wolf Throne Chapter 1

Welcome to the Blogosphere, Natalia. Just a note--The Gray Wolf Throne comes out August 30 instead of September 20. They moved up the date, but there are still some old dates floating around.
Hope you'll keep reading!
PS I LOVE Montreal. I'm sticking my toe into Canada on tour for GWT, but the event is in Vancouver, so not helpful for my eastern readers.
oh Lord! It is such a big pleasure to meet you here in my blog!! =D
Thank you for letting me know about the date. It seems they haven't change the released date in Goodreads, since I took the information from there. Now I will always take the information from the author's website. It would be much accurate and...OMG!! Im so happy GWT is coming out this month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wooooohooooooooo!!!! This made my day, week year! =D Love the Seven Realms! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Im so glad you are coming to Canada, but I am so far away from Vancouver. I hope to see you soon closer around this area. ♥
